A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required only for travellers who stay longer than 12 hours in a country at potential risk, and is not required for those who have only a stopover of a few hours for connecting flights in an African airport.

We recommend that all travellers to Tanzania follow standard hygiene rules: wash your hands frequently and drink only bottled water.

Most lodges offer western standards of cleanliness.

We suggest you consult your family doctor before departure.
